3) Mt. Fuji Cultural Heritage Hiking Ecotour (8.5 hrs.)

Hike up Mt. Fuji's largest crater, visit the Mt. Fuji shrine, enjoy a special dessert at  the traditional Japanese Ryokan (Lunch included)

Mt. Fuji has been described in literature and paintings and attract people since ancient times for its outstanding beauty. On this ecotour, enjoy both the natural and cultural side of Mt. Fuji. Hike up from the 5th station of Fujinomiya's mountain route to Hoei crater, the largest crater on Mt. Fuji. Explore the dynamic nature of this active volcano with a knowledgeable guide. If the weather permits, lunch will be served at the crater. At the foot of Mt. Fuji, Sengen Taisha which enshrines Mt. Fuji majestically stands. This shrine has a history of over 2000 years and was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In fact, Mt. Fuji's spring water wells up in the shrine grounds itself. At the end of the tour, enjoy a special dessert made by a chef in a traditional Japanese room of Ryokan.

Leaving 5th Station to Downtown Fujinomiya

  Enjoying a special dessert at the traditional Japanese Ryokan
